1. How can I be sure that the rental company will accept my reservation from DriveYouAway?

By making a reservation through DriveYouAway, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the vehicle provider (rental company) at which you book. Rental company knows about your booking and will provide you with exactly the same vehicle which you have booked. If the rental company doesn’t have the vehicle you have booked, they will provide you with a better vehicle without extra charges.


2. Why it is better to rent a vehicle online from DriveYouAway? 

We guarantee the best available prices. It means that you will not find a better price even at the office or website of the rental company. Moreover, you can secure yourself by booking in advance, because all vehicle may be already booked when you will come to the office of rental company.


3. What is the price of DriveYouAway services?

You don’t pay any commission for our services, our services are free for customers! No credit card fees. We have special agreements with all Rental companies and they pay to us, for you price is the same as in the office of rental company or even better .


4. Payment

You don’t need to pay the full price at the moment of booking. We charge only a deposit on the behalf of the rental company from the total price just to reserve the vehicle  for you. It means that you pay part of the total price now and the rest when you will pick up the vehicle by cash or card.


5. Can I cancel my booking?

Of course, plans change sometimes, you always can cancel or modify your reservation in your account. Cancellation is free of charge (deposit is not refundable) at any time earlier than 1 week before the start of the rental period. After 1 week, charges may apply.


7. Voucher

We send you a voucher on your email after payment of a deposit, please print it in advance or save it on your smartphone. The DriveYouAway voucher must be presented to the vehicle hire company when picking up your vehicle . We cannot be held responsible if the rental company rejectes your reservation if a voucher is not presented.


7. What type of driving licence do I need?

You'll need a full driving licence, not a provisional (learner's) licence. Most vehicle hire companies need you to have held your full licence for at least two years.


8. What kind of insurance do i have when renting a vehicle through DriveYouAway.

Each vehicle rental company has it's own insurance policy which you can see at the detail page of the company by pressing it's logo at the search results or if you are in the booking page you can click the policy button at the right collum under the total price summary.
